Ingredients:
1 lb. Ground Beef
1/2 cup Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Brown Sugar
2 cloves Garlic, minced
2 tsp Ground Ginger
2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
1 tbsp Sesame Oil
1 tbsp Sesame Seeds
2 tbsp Green Onion, sliced
Sesame Seeds and Green Onion, garnish (optional)
Spices: Black Pepper and Kosher Salt, to taste
3 cups Jasmine Rice, cooked
Combine brown sugar, soy sauce, sesame oil, ground ginger, garlic and red pepper flakes in a medium bowl for later use. Over medium heat, cook ground beef for 3- 5 minutes , be sure to crumble ground beef while cooking. Drain excess fat then pour in liquid mixture to pan. Stir and simmer on low for an additional 3-5 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper then remove from heat. Stir in green onion and sesame seeds. Serve over Jasmine rice.
