Poultry Brine

I’ve never been one to brine but since purchasing an air fryer that has an rotisserie, I am in search for good brines. This recipe is simple and very flavorful.

Ingredients:
5 cups Water
1 Lemon, sliced
1/4 cup Honey
1/4 cup Herbs (Use fresh or dried. Parsley, cilantro and or basil can be used.)
2 cloves Garlic
2 tbsp Black Peppercorn
2 tbsp Kosher or Sea Salt

In a heavy pot, bring all ingredients to a boil. Stir and remove from heat, allowing to completely cool. Using a deep container with a lid, place raw poultry inside and pour brine over. Refrigerate for 6- 24 hours then prepare using your desired cooking method.
