Sweet & Sour Sauce

I can’t eat an eggroll with our sweet & sour sauce. I also know that sweet & sour sauce is good in other dishes. This is a simple recipe for the sauce and can be made a few days in advance. The sauce can be stored up to a week refrigerated.

Prep Time: 5 mins
Cook Time: 15- 20 mins
Store Time: 7 days

Ingredients:
1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 cup Water
1/3 cup Brown Sugar
2 tbsp Ketchup
1 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 tbsp Corn Starch

Combine all ingredients in a small saucepot. Whisk and bring to a simmer. Continue to whisk and sauce will thicken as it simmers. This process can take anywhere from 10-15 minutes to thicken. Once thickened, remove from heat and transfer to a glass container and allow to cool. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator until needed.
