Oven Baked Pork Ribs

When you think of ribs, barbecue is probably the first thing that comes to mind. It’s not always convenient to pull out the grill so why not try the oven. Nothing can replace the smoked flavor but you won’t be disappointed with this recipe.

Half Rack Pork Ribs
1 recipe of BD’s Pork Marinade (click here)
1/4 cup Water

Prep Day:
Rub entire rack with marinade, cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.

Cooking Day:
Remove ribs from refrigerator and allow to rest at room temp for a few minutes before placeing in the oven. Preheat oven to 375F. Using an oven safe dish, transfer rack ensuring it is able to lay flat. Pour marinade over ribs, add 1/4 cup of water to bottom of dish then place in oven.

After 15 mins baste ribs, lower oven temp to 340F and cover with aluminum foil. Baste every 10-15 minutes until ribs are cooked. Cook until ribs are tender which is around 35- 45 mins or reaches the internal temp of 140F. Turn off oven, remove foil and allow ribs to sit for up to five minutes before removing from the oven. This will allow ribs to brown and reach the cook temp of 145F. Remove from oven and allow to rest before carving. Serve with your favorite side dish and Happy Eating!!
