Kale Saute

Kale has become increasingly popular over the last 10-15 years. It’s not just used as a garnish anymore. People are enjoying some of its’ health benefits by indulging in this superfood.

Prep Time: 5 min
Cook Time: 5 min

Ingredients:
1 bunch washed Fresh Kale, stemmed and chopped
1 Roma Tomato, seeded and chopped
1 tbsp Olive Oil
Spices:
Black Pepper
Kosher Salt
Garlic Powder

Heat olive oil in a saute pan then add tomatoes. Saute for two minutes and add chopped kale. Season with spices and continue to cook for an additional 3- 5 minutes. Kale should start to wilt as cooking. Do not over cook, the kale should still have some crunch. Remove from heat and serve with your main course.
